Pen Pal Program with Bewick Bridge Community Primary School
We are excited to announce a new and exciting project at Bohumil Hrabal School! Our 5th-grade students have started a pen pal program with children from Bewick Bridge Community Primary School in Cambridge, UK.
This program gives our students the opportunity to practice their English in a fun and meaningful way. Through emails, they share stories about their school, hobbies, and daily lives while learning about life in England. The project not only helps improve their language skills but also fosters friendships across borders.
The first letter has already been received and our students were quick to write back during their English lessons, sharing details about life at Bohumil Hrabal School and Czech traditions like Saint Nicholas Day.
We look forward to seeing this program grow and deepen the connection between our schools.
